8 million years ago, before the dawn of mankind, in a realm where the ancient spirits of nature whispered with the wind and danced with the rivers, stood Arctonus, the venerable guardian of forests and wild creatures. At his side, Helvika, his wise companion, reigned over the cycles of life and death, preserving the balance of their mystical world.

From their union three descendants were born, each carrying a singular essence of nature's powers.

URSUS, the eldest, heir to the vigor of Arctonus, embodied brute strength and resolution. Fearless guardian of their ancestral domain, he defended tradition and honor with fierce determination. His merciless presence was a wall against threats, a living embodiment of bravery.

AILURON, the youngest, contrasted with his passive nature, a reflection of Helvika's inner peace. Avoiding conflict, his contemplative spirit and gentleness prefigured the pandas, symbols of tranquility and reflection in an often tumultuous world.

BRANNØS was radically different from his brothers, and indeed from all other forms of terrestrial life.

Convinced that the evolution of his line should not be dictated exclusively by the whims of the earth or the vagaries of the climate, he cherished the challenge. He constantly questioned the established order, finding it absurd that his brothers were content to mark their territory in the same primitive way as their father, by defecating and urinating anywhere. For Brannøs, borders were an illusion.

He saw in Ursus's strength and determination a latent weakness - raw strength soon to be supplanted by ingenuity. This ingenuity would one day reduce Ursus' image to a children's toy or a mascot on trucks. He foresaw that even Ursus' strength would be ridiculed, then pitifully preserved by resourceful creatures, leaving his descendants on shreds of territory by their charity.

As for Ailuron, he perceived him as lazy, feeding on bamboo not by choice but by ease, resigning himself to a life of incessant digestion without ever seeking to surpass himself. His only foolish challenges were to piss on trees while doing the headstand, to impress those who would notice the height.

One day, to the reproches of his brothers who called him crazy for his daring ideas, Brannøs retorted: 'Make fun of me, but I'm taking up the challenge: the monkeys I'm going to inspire with ingenuity will dominate not by force, but by the spirit of challenge. They will learn to question and explore beyond known boundaries.'
